How to use
Menstrual discs are disc-shaped period products that collect your menstrual flow for up to 8 hours (to avoid risk of infection or Toxic Shock Syndrome TSS). They are made of medical-grade silicon. They offer a great alternative for those who find menstrual cups difficult to use and they are the only period product that can be worn to have period mess-free sex.
To avoid risks, it’s always pivotal to disinfect your disc. We recommend boiling your disc in water between 3-8 minutes or using a steriliser. Always let them cool completely before handling the disc with clean hands.
Always wash your hands before inserting your disc.
It’s important to relax and find a comfortable position. Then fold the menstrual disc longways. Insert the folded disc into the vagina angling it toward your tailbone. The tab should be the last part of the disc in. Gently push the tab end up until your disc is tucked behind your pubic bone.
The menstrual disc can be worn up to 8 hours before it needs to be removed, cleaned, and reinserted.
